FHS Chorale Sings for Frank M. Tejeda

Floresville, Texas

The Floresville High School ROTC Cadet Chorale and Student Choir sang their “An American Christmas” program for students at Poth High School and Sacred Heart School after singing in the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville. Chorale members who recently experienced Rachel’s Challenge at Floresville High School wanted to take “random acts of kindness” into the surrounding communities. The group also included FHS cheer and dance members and Floresville Middle School choir members. Additionally, students from Floresville South Elementary School made beautiful Christmas cards for veterans and the Poth High School and Sacred Heart students.

Many thanks to Principal Todd Pawelek of Poth High School and Principal Hilary Reile of Sacred Heart for giving the Floresville Independent School District students the opportunity to participate in this meaningful Rachel’s Challenge community-service effort during the Christmas season.
