With a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a master’s degree in nursing from Texas A&M University, experience in critical care, and 20 years of experience in long-term care, Ann is certainly an asset to the Touchstone Communities team. Ann is motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life of Touchstone residents. She is inspired by challenges and sees them as a way to awaken undiscovered gifts, inner strength and help reveal each person’s purpose in life. Ann had her first opportunity to serve as a long-term care director of nursing during the time her own mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Through this experience, Ann has been able to foster a positive attitude and commitment toward helping elders in all of Touchstone’s communities through her service as director of clinical operations and health services.
