Grand Re-Opening Red Ribbon Ceremony for Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation
Mar 4, 2021
Congratulations Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation for their Grand Re-Opening Red Ribbon Ceremony this week.
Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located at 1701 Tournament Trail Drive, recently held a Grand Re-Opening Red Ribbon Ceremony in partnership with the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, frontline pandemic heroes and team members, medical and health-related professionals, and members of the Laredo community as the Center was re-dedicated in service to the people of Laredo and surrounding areas for skilled nursing and rehabilitation care needs. The re-dedication initiative follows action taken in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic when the City of Laredo designated Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as the City’s designated COVID-19 health service partner. The Red Ribbon Re-dedication Ceremony was held at 2 pm on March 1, 2021 outside the Center.
“Our private and semi-private rooms are once again open for persons needing skilled nursing and rehabilitation care as we continue to diligently follow the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the ongoing fight against COVID-19,” commented Raul Ramos, Administrator, Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 2020 Pinnacle Customer Experience Award Winner for Dignity and Respect. “We will forever be grateful to the City of Laredo for choosing our Center as its health service partner in the collective fight against COVID-19 which will always be at the forefront of our mission of serving others. Now we are ready to move forward in meeting the needs of those patients and residents needing non-COVID-related skilled nursing and rehabilitation care,” Ramos explained.
Skilled nursing services currently being offered at Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation include specialized nursing care based on individual residents’ goals and needs; an advanced rehabilitation program including a gymnasium with customized modalities; a private dining room for residents, patients, family members and friends; transportation to/from appointments; in-center salon for women and men; electric beds; and more. “At Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will experience a comforting, loving community surrounded by a team of outstanding, caring healthcare professionals who will work with you to help you meet your goals and preferences in an engaging, fun and comfortable atmosphere,” stated Cindy Gilcrease, Vice President of Operations for Texas-based Touchstone Communities which operates Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
“Whether you, or your loved one, need a short-term rehabilitation and recovery stay after being hospitalized or longer-term care, we are here for you. Serving you and your family would be a privilege, and our front-line team of heroes is ready,” Ramos concluded.
