Carl Fellbaum

Chief Executive Officer

With a background in public accounting, audit, and tax, Carl Fellbaum joined Stan Studer as a partner in Touchstone Communities 1997 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer before being named President in 2004. As CEO since January 2017, Carl leads the development and successful implementation of our vision and strategy and provides spiritual direction across the entire organization.

Carl was an early proponent of The Small House Concept and has been involved with the Veterans Home program from the very beginning. He uses his financial insights to lead Touchstone Communities in providing the best possible environment of care for the people we serve.

Carl is a member of the World Presidents’ Organization and serves on the board of The Ecumenical Center. He has also served on the boards of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Alamo Heights School Foundation. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
