Oscar Wilde once said, “A mask tells us more than a face.” For our team members at communities throughout Texas, the masks we currently wear are telling the story of our efforts to keep every Touchstone Communities’ residents safe. The people behind those masks, the heroes on the frontline, are our friends, loved ones and teammates who are showing up each and every day committed to protecting everyone around them. You see a mask. Yet behind those masks, and other protective gear, is a person with hopes, dreams, loves, fears and passions. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear personal protective equipment and we can never thank them enough for all they’re doing during these extraordinary times. And as soon as it’s safe, they look forward to letting the world see their smiles that are still there under those masks.
