Touchstone Communities Celebrates National Nurses Week

ANA-NNW2013On May 6, 2013,  Touchstone Communities is joining the American Nurses Association in celebrating Delivering Quality and Innovation in Patient Care, as part of National Nurses Week, which is held May 6-12, every year. The purpose of the week-long celebration is to raise awareness of the value of nursing and help educate the public about the role nurses play in meeting the health care needs of the American people.

“Nursing has often been referred to as an art and a science.  It is assuredly a profession of dedicated men and women with varied interests, strengths and backgrounds.  During the course of any working day, a nurse works in many roles and serves all of them with passion and a strong commitment to quality care. When you’re a nurse you know that every day you will touch a life or a life will touch yours.”  Ann Chirhart, VP of Clinical Services and Health Care, Touchstone Communities.

In honor of the dedication, commitment, and tireless effort of the nearly 3.1 million registered nurses nationwide to promote and maintain the health of this nation, The ANA and Touchstone Communities are proud to recognize registered nurses everywhere, especially the nurses of Touchstone Communities, for the quality of care they provide seven days a week, 365 days a year.
