State Representative Ryan Guillen visited the Las Palmas Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation facility in Cotulla on Thursday evening, July 21, to meet with local elected officials, nursing facility board members and government representatives as well as civic leaders for an update on the community’s needs in senior care and assisted living, and for a tour of the facility. Rep. Guillen met with administrator Matthew Sealy and addressed residents and attendees at a catered meet-and-greet function at which he expressed admiration at the nursing and care center’s amenities and resources, staff and operations. Among those present to address local Sheriff Miguel Rodriguez, Cotulla City Manager Larry Dovalina, Councilors Juan Garcia, and Mary Koraleski, and Justice of the Peace Vicki Rodriguez.
