New Long-Term Care Facility Now Open in Alamo – KVEO

[Alamo, Texas] – A new senior nursing home now open in the city of Alamo.

The Heights of Alamo is a 130 bed facility offering long term care to elderly residents. Some of the services include physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Administrators say the new location offers families who live in smaller cities the option to keep their relatives close by.

Sandra Balzadua, Facility Administrator says, “Our population is getting a little older and people are needing our services much more. Normally people have to go to McAllen, or they go to Harlingen or Weslaco, and now we actually have someone here to serve Alamo, Donna, and this area.”
