Vicky brings extensive skills to her post here at Ussery-Roan, with over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. In addition to holding a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma, Vicky has served in nursing administrative posts in both acute care and long term care, as well as working in nursing education. And with ten years with the Veterans Administration, it’s clear she is certainly dedicated to serving our veteran elders. And she has found her niche in serving seniors with over 17 years in long term care. Vicky loves seeing the smile on the faces of residents as she greets them each day. As she says herself, “What a difference a few words can make! Caring for seniors is such a rewarding experience. When that person is a Veteran, what an even greater privilege!” We hope you will come by and get to know Vicky – she brings great leadership and a sunny spirit to our community.
