| Where We Stand |
Touchstone Communities began as Care Inn Properties, Inc., a partnership formed in 1991 by now
CEO Stan Studer, Jr. With a background in real estate and management of skilled nursing facilities,
Studer and partners sought the right communities to fulfill their mission of offering skilled care in a compassionate environment. The first community Care Inn Properties, Inc. acquired was Brenham Rest Home in 1994. In 2005, Care Inn Properties, Inc. became known as Touchstone Communities. The company has since grown to over 1100 team members, owns and manages eight communities in Texas and Arizona, the ninth to open in 2009, and manages four state veterans homes in Texas. Offering advanced care in a loving and compassionate environment has been our mission from day one, and will continue to lead us into the future. |
||
| Where We're Going |
Touchstone Communities offers a continuum of advanced care and rehabilitation for elders
throughout the Southwest. Touchstone Communities’ reputation for excellence and compassionate care has brought us to the forefront of our industry. We plan to intelligently grow our core services for meeting the demand for advanced elder care in communities throughout the United States, with a current focus on the Southwest. We are currently incorporating the latest and most innovative concepts in long-term care to our offerings — The Enclave and Neighborhood models. Each meet the federal and state requirements for assisted living or skilled nursing facility licensure, and provide more homelike environments, offering residents a variety of benefits. Look for us to continue to lead the way in excellence and innovation in long-term care. |
