We are thrilled to have Melissa as part of the Touchstone team. With 16 years of experience
as an Occupational Therapist, 14 years of management experience and knowledge of
multiple care environments, Melissa is especially poised to bring critical operations management
to our regional team. Most recently, she served as a Regional Resource for Ensign Facility Services. Prior to that, she served as Administrator and Founding Director of the Sears Methodist therapy company, Southwest Therapy Associates.

Melissa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and is currently working toward earning her Master of Science degree in Clinical Practice Management, all from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She loves her opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of our residents and families. As she states, “It is wonderful to be a part of a team that works so hard to deliver compassionate care to well-respected elders in twelve communities across two states.” Melissa is inspired by the never ending desire to learn, which she believes is critical to ensuring that Touchstone Communities continues to be dynamic in our approach to health care delivery, balancing excellent care with financial responsibility.
Not only does Melissa bring a wealth of knowledge to her new role at Touchstone, but her enthusiasm and can do attitude will assist our team members in delivering compassionate care through innovative approaches.
