Lana is a guiding light for our nursing teams and our residents, as she  brings decades of nursing skill and experience to our communities. She has worked in a variety of capacities and a variety of settings, including home health and ICU. For the last 18 years, she has worked in long term care as a Director of Nursing and a Nurse Consultant. Lana began working as a nurses’ aide in high school, and soon after received her LVN certification. Twelve years later she received her Associates Degree in Nursing and became a registered nurse. She also holds AANAC certification. Beyond these wonderful degrees and training, what is most obvious about Lana is her deep dedication to serving others. As she tells it, “Growing up, I was the neighborhood babysitter for children and the elderly. I enjoyed combing their hair, feeding them, sitting and talking to them, making them smile. Today, I still love to see our residents smile and watch their families rejoice when another challenge has been conquered.” Each day, Lana strives for a job well done as she trains and encourages our nursing and health care teams, enhancing the care of our residents throughout our communities.
