Sandy started her impressive career in the long-term care industry more than 30 years ago as an activity director. After becoming a licensed nursing facility administrator (LNFA) in 1978, she quickly excelled, becoming regional vice president and later regional president for Mariner Healthcare and Sava Senior Care, overseeing facilities in Texas and California. Sandy has been able to use her solid experience and skill set with Touchstone as senior vice president of management services. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Texas A&M University, Sandy continues to share her passion for the industry by serving as a member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators and as chair of the legal committee of the Texas Healthcare Association, for which she formerly served as the organization’s chair. Sandy’s extensive involvement in the legislature and her strong government relationships ensure that Touchstone has a voice in how elder care is delivered on both a state and national level.
