Britta’s strong work ethic and passion are evident as she fulfilled her goal of becoming a nurse by age 21. After a few years, she became increasingly aware of the need for strong leadership in nursing care administration and pursued her ambition to help senior adults. As a result, Britta became a licensed nursing facility administrator, and has served in this capacity for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Touchstone, her career path included regional nurse consultant as well as home health agency director of nurses. She also served as an executive director of two continuing care retirement communities which encompassed skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living and licensed home health agencies. After serving as chief operating officer for the past three years, Britta now serves as senior vice president for Small House Development and Operations at Touchstone, focusing her efforts on ensuring the success of the company’s new community, The Enclave™. She helps team members hone their skills, improve their lives and meet their goals which ultimately aides the company with daily operations. Britta loves knowing that by mentoring team members, she and her team have the opportunity to improve the lives of senior adults at all of Touchstone’s communities.
