Stan’s business experience, education and family ties to the long-term care industry were instrumental in his founding the company in 1991, originally known as Care Inn Properties. Now known as Touchstone, the company’s first acquisition was the Brenham Rest Home in Brenham, Texas. After 18 years of fulfilling a mission to serve elders in rural and urban communities through a variety of services, Stan’s steadfast leadership has left a footprint on the long-term care industry and has changed the lives of those Touchstone has served. His knowledge and experience in acquisitions, finance, operations and marketing have helped Touchstone Communities grow to nine communities and four managed facilities where more than 1,200 team members work to make a difference in the lives of elders. Stan looks to guide Touchstone Communities to become the premier network of dynamic healthcare communities and services.
