JOB TITLE: Social Worker
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Within the Social Services department, the person holding this position participates in Pre-Admission, Admission, Residency, and Discharge procedures. They would be responsible for implementing policies and procedures for determining and assessing residents’ short and long-range goals for social, psychological, emotional, and financial needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly and the emotionally upset.
