LA VERNIA — When a family or individual must choose a nursing, rehabilitation,
or long-term care facility that’s close to home, a local option for Wilson
County families is Country Care Manor on F.M. 775.
Owned by Touchstone Communities, the facility serves Wilson County’s elderly
population by providing compassionate care and rehabilitation. Staff members
operate the facility under the management of Administrator Kai J. Mayne. A
graduate of Texas State University, Mayne has eight years of experience in his
field and holds long-term care certification.
Country Care Manor offers a range of services, including physical and
occupational therapy, speech therapy, and 24-hour skilled nursing care, along
with providing consulting podiatrist, ophthalmologist, and psychologist
services. Most services are covered by Medicare Part A insurance. All services
are the same, regardless of the payment source and are comparable to services
offered by competitors.
Mayne maintains that Country Care Manor’s therapy and nursing services are
“second to none. But it’s the staff who deliver care with genuine compassion
that sets us apart from our competition.”
“I enjoy the opportunity to provide high-quality, dignified care through the
leadership of a talented, skilled, and devoted team of health-care
professionals at Country Care Manor,” Mayne said.
The facility’s semi-private rooms are offered for $115 per day. Private rooms
are $140 per day. Country Care Manor is a Medicare and Medicaid certified
facility, and accepts long-term care insurance.
Country Care Manor is located at 2736 F.M. 775 in La Vernia.
